Asmahaney is a lawyer and an Alternative Dispute Resolution practitioner by profession. She has over 14 years extensive experience advising on several matters including; oil and gas, project financing, infrastructure development, mining, national content including joint venture structuring, regulatory and compliance, governance, environment, health and safety, trade, and investment.
She serves on the investment advisory committee for the petroleum revenue investment reserve fund under the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, and as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Directors for the United Bank for Africa (UBA).
She holds a Diploma in Legal Practice and is a Chartered Mediator (MTI-EA). She also holds a Masters in International Business Administration from ESLSCA International Business School in Paris.
